August, come and gone

Happy August moments. There weren't that many. I've been viciously homesick ever since I went back to Vienna for a weekend in July. Happy days were those that I spent with my best friends, in town all too briefly; when we went to East Sussex/Kent to stay with Peter's dad; buying plants on my way to the Harry and the Potters gig; and, more than anything, weekends spent away from the city, like last weekend, when I went back to Durham and hung out in the same tiny cafés with my lovely friends.

If anyone has any tips on how to survive in London, do let me know. I'm running out of ideas and patience.

  3. Blast! I was going to buy you a jade plant! Museums? Have you tried the megabus ride? If it's survivable we might be able to make visits more often.

    1. I want to fill up my flat with plants, I love this particular one. Do you have any tips on how not to kill them?
Museums are nice, but very crowded on weekends which is the only time I can go really :(

  4. Note to self: stop pulling stupid faces in pictures.

The Megabus is bearable if you get an overnight one, and can sleep sitting up.

  5. Dudes nooo I'm not doing the Megabus, I'll just come up by train.... I think you can still get cheapish train tickets if you book in advance and don't mind going at odd times of the day.
