sometimes it feels as though it changes with the weather

Recently:
1. I've been re-reading The Bell by Iris Murdoch; I loved it just as much as when I first read it back when I was seventeen. A wonderful, heartbreaking, disturbing novel. Not as disturbing as Strait Is The Gate by André Gide, however - another old favourite, another book I've been re-reading for class. Studying literature: a dream come true.
2. It's been sunny and unseasonably warm. Walking along the quaintest street of Durham in the afternoon sunshine with a person I like, I fell in love with the whole thing all over again.
