UntitledUntitledUntitledI used to skate

What a quiet month. Days in the library, evenings spent in pubs or baking beetroot cake. After careful consideration I've decided that Iris Murdoch's 'The Bell' is one of the best novels I know. My time in Durham is slowly running out and I feel ambivalent about it. I've missed Vienna: the streets, the quiet bustle of city life, our kitchen, living with my brothers. I'm glad to go back to that. But the thought of being more than a short walk away from some of the loveliest people I know breaks my heart a little. A lot.
