Lovely moments:
1. I walked to work in the morning, it had snowed the night before. Everything was white, but the sky was blue and the sun was out. It was so bright and beautiful. I listened to this beautiful song by The National and everything was so calm that life seemed worth living.
2. The woman who sat next to me on the train started teaching the little daughter of the couple sitting across from me magic tricks.
3. The old man who sat next to me on the bus signalled to another man that the bag he was carrying smelt lovely. So the second man offered him a tangerine. All of this was done with gestures and smiles (and without words).
It's really the small things that makes everything worthwhile. I sometimes have to remember to stop and look and listen to what's going on around me. But it makes everything easier, suddenly bad grades or a bad day can seem brighter

I love strangers interacting on public transport (unless it is one person singing too loudly at everyone else. not that that counts as interacting).
