Does anyone else feel oddly abandonded whenever they finish a book? I'm always completely useless afterwards. It's almost like saying goodbye to a friend/lover, only you know that there won't be a reunion.
I used to not like female vocals, but this has really changed during the summer. Here are my current favourites to brighten your days, especially if you have been left on your own by a book/boy/girl. I suppose these are songs to keep one company. Hope you like them as much as I do.
I, too, feel abandoned after finishing a book. If it is one that I was particularly enjoying, I dread the end of it and try to prolong finishing it as long as I can.
ReplyDeleteI do wish that I read more novels this summer! I had all the time in the world and only picked up two or three. I suppose I was just so tired of reading textbooks and documents online for school that I didn't feel up to it this season. But now that I'm back in school, I miss the novelty of leisure reading.
I was the complete opposite when it came to female vocals! Up until last year, bands with female vocals were all that I listened to and now I'm just getting back into male-led groups.
