The New Wine are a young band from Bergen, Norway who I first encountered during my stay in Bergen when various people told me about how absolutely brilliant they were. So I bought the Opplett-compilation filled with music by young bands from Bergen and listened to "I Had To Tell You". It's one of those epic, brilliant, perfect songs and I have been listening to it again and again for the past six months. They sound like what I'd always been hoping The Whitest Boy Alive would sound like one day. I do really recommend this song wholeheartedly. Go see them live if you get the opportunity, I missed their gig in Bergen due to the rain...
