J.K. Rowling was named runner-up for TIME magazine's Person of the Year. The article about her is excellent, one of the best I've read in a while. She seems to be really funny and down-to-earth which, I suppose, is an achievment considering the fact that she's famous and rich and adored all over the world. And her thoughts on religion are interesting, I never even considered that might be important to her.
I'm really going to miss HP. It was such an enormous part of being young. I remember the summer when Order of the Phoenix came out - I went to Rome and Sweden and there were advertisments everywhere. Il libro del momento, it said (surely my Italian is wrong). I've still got the photos somewhere. The pictures above are from the TIME photo essay, I really like the expressions of these French boys.
