companionship

I had to move to a small town to realise that sometimes it's not about where you are, but who you are with.

  1. I've checked in at your blog for a bit, and this is one of my favorite posts- something about the images and how they build upon each other, this loose-jointed, careful starkness. and my mulling over the initial texts, the funny jostle of them, but a sort of isolation. i don't know! hope you are going to have a great holiday soon, with friends & snacks & warm lights. those marbles are beautiful.

  3. Oh and also! I found a long skirt the other day and habe been wearing it a lot, being very dutch and all, I cycle everywhere and it's not impossible. Actually I kind of like it now with all the rain and cold wind, because my legs stay warm. It just has to be wide skirt I think.

I remember reading on your tumblr once that you said it was not practical and I always wanted to try out but I don't have long skirts and now I do! hihi.

  4. Bobby - that's good to know! Maybe it depends on the bike? I'm always scared that the skirt will get caught up in the wheels, causing it to tear and the bike to crash. Whenever I wear a longish skirt (i.e. one that goes just below the knees) I tie it up in a knot.
