the past two weeks, believe it or not
I'd lost my belief in indiepop
suddenly I was into a different scene
suddenly I preferred a Libertine
but it only lasted until today
'cause nothing's better than "So Said Kay"
and The Lodger sure don't like drugs
us popkids we like tea and hugs
and maybe a melody and a beat or two
