Sarah Palin makes my skin crawl. The way that formerly moderate, liberal conservatives turn into anti-everything before an election creeps me out. Both in Austria and the US.
sarah palin was never moderate, nor was she ever a liberal conservative. the more the press uncovers about her, the more it becomes apparent that she is extremely conservative, abusive of executive power, leans towards making erratic decisions and has no real experience forming policy.
unfortunately most of the population here will allow themselves to be duped into voting for her because she's "likeable"...

I agree. I was actually talking about McCain though. And Austrian conservatives.
